Bloodhounds Season 2 Episode 3 begins with Woo-jin and Gwang-mu recovering from the brutal attack. Gun-woo feels responsible for what happened and struggles with the knowledge that Baek-jeong is targeting everyone around him. Tae-yeong continues investigating IKFC through the dark web and discovers how extensive the underground fighting network really is. The organization uses illegal fights, gambling, technology, and criminal connections to generate enormous profits. The group realizes that Baek-jeong has created an operation far more sophisticated than they initially expected. Meanwhile, Baek-jeong continues strengthening his organization. Kang In-beom is brought into his operation, and Baek-jeong begins considering how to use Gun-woo's relationships against him. He identifies Hong Min-beom as a particularly valuable target because Gun-woo trusts him completely. Gwang-mu and Woo-jin begin tracking the fighters connected to the attack. Their investigation leads them to a gym where several of Baek-jeong's men are hiding. A confrontation turns into a fight, and the police eventually arrive and arrest the fighters. The investigation takes a tragic turn when Detective Gyeong-won, one of the officers looking into the criminal network, is attacked and fatally stabbed. His death sends a clear warning that Baek-jeong is willing to eliminate anyone who gets too close to his organization. The police continue gathering evidence and discover a distinctive watch connected to Baek-jeong's fighters. The clue gives them a physical connection between the underground fighters and the organization. At the same time, Baek-jeong's men begin preparing a trap for Hong Min-beom. A woman is instructed to drug him at a bar and deliver him into the organization's hands. Min-beom arrives unaware that he has been targeted and accepts a drink from the disguised woman. As Min-beom drinks the drugged beverage, Baek-jeong's plan begins working. Gun-woo does not yet know that his friend has become the organization's newest target. Episode 3 ends with Min-beom unknowingly falling into Baek-jeong's trap while Gun-woo and his allies remain focused on investigating IKFC. The death of Detective Gyeong-won has made the stakes even higher, and Baek-jeong is preparing to use Min-beom to force Gun-woo into his underground boxing empire.
