Bloodhounds Season 2 Episode 4 continues as Gun-woo and his allies face increasing pressure from Im Baek-jeong and the powerful underground boxing organization IKFC. After Min-beom is drugged, his condition rapidly deteriorates and he is taken to the hospital. The attack makes it clear that Baek-jeong is deliberately targeting Gun-woo's closest allies to force him into submission. Woo-jin and Gwang-mu investigate the bar where Min-beom was drugged and discover that the attack was carefully planned. They begin tracing the woman who helped lure Min-beom into the trap and uncover another connection to Baek-jeong's criminal organization. The group also learns more about the drug used against Min-beom. Its effects can weaken a person's ability to control their responses, making it potentially useful for extracting information. This gives Gun-woo's team an opportunity to turn Baek-jeong's methods against his own organization. Meanwhile, more information emerges about Sergeant Yun Tae-geom. His loyalty to Baek-jeong is connected to pressure on his family, leaving him trapped inside the organization despite understanding how dangerous Baek-jeong is. The investigation continues to expose the scale of IKFC. The organization combines illegal boxing, gambling, criminal financing, intimidation, and carefully planned attacks. Baek-jeong uses his money and connections to stay protected behind layers of fighters and criminal associates. Gun-woo and his allies prepare a counter-operation while the police also begin connecting the bombing, attacks, and criminal activity to Baek-jeong. They realize that they cannot continue reacting to his moves and must eventually strike back. The group enters a hotel connected to the criminal operation while following another lead. Gun-woo notices that the building is suspiciously quiet and begins searching for signs of a trap. Before they can fully escape, a powerful explosion tears through the location. Gun-woo survives the blast but realizes that Baek-jeong has once again predicted their movements. The attack demonstrates that Baek-jeong is willing to destroy entire locations to eliminate his enemies and pressure Gun-woo. With Min-beom still in danger, Woo-jin and Gwang-mu investigating IKFC, and the police preparing their own operation, Gun-woo understands that he may have to enter the underground fighting world himself. Joining IKFC could be the only way to get close enough to Baek-jeong to destroy the organization from within. Episode 4 ends with Gun-woo facing the decision Baek-jeong has been trying to force upon him. The battle is no longer simply about boxing. It has become a fight to protect their families and friends and bring down the criminal empire controlling IKFC.
