Bloodhounds Season 2 Episode 6 begins with Im Baek-jeong preparing to escape South Korea. Lee Man-bae explains that arranging a private jet will take several days, giving the organization only a short window to disappear before the police can close in. Because Baek-jeong still needs leverage over Gun-woo, Man-bae proposes hiring elite S-Class Bloodhounds to kidnap So-yeon. Baek-jeong agrees and decides that Kang In-beom will lead the operation alongside two other highly dangerous fighters. At the same time, Sergeant Yun Tae-geom receives an emergency phone call about his daughter. She has been involved in an accident and is in the hospital. Yun immediately rushes there, believing his family is finally in serious danger because of the choices he has made while working for Baek-jeong. When Yun arrives at the hospital, Min Gang-yong and Moon Gwang-mu are already waiting for him. Gang-yong confronts Yun and explains that the police know about his connection to Baek-jeong. Instead of arresting him immediately, Gang-yong offers Yun a chance to save his family. If Yun cooperates and provides information about Baek-jeong's organization, the police will protect Yun's daughter and the rest of his family. Yun initially struggles with the decision. He knows that betraying Baek-jeong could cost him his life, but he also understands that continuing to serve him could eventually put his daughter in even greater danger. After seeing his daughter in the hospital, Yun finally chooses his family and agrees to cooperate with Gang-yong. Yun reveals that Lee Man-bae is not simply an ordinary criminal strategist. His real name is Lee Dong-hyeon, and he previously worked as an NIS agent. His intelligence background explains how Man-bae has been able to manipulate people, obtain information, and maintain connections with corrupt officials. Yun also reveals that Man-bae has several police officers under his control, making Baek-jeong's organization far more deeply embedded within the system than Gang-yong had realized. Yun then gives the police their most important information yet: Baek-jeong plans to leave South Korea and travel to Thailand, taking So-yeon with him as leverage. The kidnapping is not simply intended to punish Gun-woo. Baek-jeong wants So-yeon available so he can force Gun-woo into the final confrontation he has been planning. Yun also explains why Baek-jeong has become obsessed with Gun-woo. During the previous IKFC fight, the underground audience began supporting Gun-woo rather than Baek-jeong. Baek-jeong's authority was damaged when the crowd cheered for his opponent. Rather than accept the humiliation, he decides that Gun-woo must be destroyed publicly in a death match. Meanwhile, Min-beom meets with NIS black-operations agent Choi Sin-hyeong and his partner Seul-gi. Min-beom is furious about everything Baek-jeong has done and wants to use the NIS to eliminate him. The agents listen carefully while Min-beom explains the situation and the danger facing Gun-woo, Woo-jin, and So-yeon. Min-beom later meets Gang-yong and Gwang-mu to discuss the plan. Gang-yong tells him that Yun has agreed to cooperate and that the police now have a chance to stop Baek-jeong before he leaves the country. Min-beom questions whether simply arresting Baek-jeong will really end the threat. He wants Baek-jeong dead, but Gang-yong refuses to allow a private execution. He insists that Baek-jeong must be arrested and brought to justice. While the adults organize their operation, Woo-jin visits Gun-woo and tells him that his father has a connection to an experienced boxing coach. Woo-jin knows that Gun-woo has been badly injured and that his confidence has been damaged by Baek-jeong's brutal attack. Although Woo-jin cannot train Gun-woo himself, he suggests finding a new coach who can prepare him for the fight that is coming. Gang-yong, Tae-yeong, and Woo-jeong meanwhile work to strengthen the police operation. Tae-yeong suggests bringing in additional officers who can be trusted. Sergeant Yoon Han-gu arrives with a team and agrees to help capture Baek-jeong. Gang-yong warns everyone that Baek-jeong has compromised people inside the police and that they must be extremely careful about who receives information. Yun provides another crucial detail. Baek-jeong's escape plan will take him through Dr. Moon's veterinary clinic. Man-bae is preparing the route toward Bangkok, and Baek-jeong is expected to move through the clinic before being transported out of the country. Gang-yong decides that the clinic is the best opportunity to arrest him. The police carefully prepare the operation. They divide their forces and establish positions around the clinic. Gang-yong reminds everyone that they cannot allow Baek-jeong to escape and that they must be ready for resistance. Yun's information gives them confidence that they finally have a chance to capture their main target. Baek-jeong arrives at Dr. Moon's clinic expecting to continue his escape plan. The police suddenly raid the building. Dr. Moon is immediately arrested while Baek-jeong refuses to surrender. He grabs a surgical scalpel and attacks the officers, turning the arrest into a violent struggle. A second police unit moves in and manages to subdue Baek-jeong with tasers. After a prolonged struggle, he is finally restrained and taken into custody. For the first time, it appears that the entire Bloodhounds conflict may finally be coming to an end. Inside the police vehicle, however, Baek-jeong quickly realizes how the police discovered his location. He looks at Yun and understands that his most trusted subordinate has betrayed him. Baek-jeong's expression changes immediately as he realizes that Yun has been secretly cooperating with Gang-yong. At the same time, Allen contacts Man-bae with an offer. He promises a huge reward for rescuing Baek-jeong, offering five Bitcoins to anyone capable of breaking him out. Man-bae knows that a normal rescue operation will not be enough, so he turns to the underground Bloodhound network. Man-bae posts a message in the Bloodhound group chat asking for elite fighters to participate in a rescue operation. The message quickly spreads through the criminal network. Professional underground fighters begin preparing to attack the police convoy carrying Baek-jeong. Du-yeong sees the message and immediately understands what it means. He knows that Gun-woo and Woo-jin are likely to become involved because the Bloodhounds network is connected to the same world they have been fighting. Du-yeong decides to contact them and warn them about the planned rescue. The police convoy moves along the highway with Baek-jeong heavily guarded. Gang-yong believes that the operation is under control, but the Bloodhounds have already positioned themselves along the route. The ambush begins suddenly. Multiple vehicles attack the police convoy, forcing the officers into a chaotic battle on the highway. The Bloodhounds use overwhelming numbers and coordinated attacks to disable the police vehicles. Cars crash, officers are surrounded, and the convoy begins losing control of the situation. Gang-yong and Gwang-mu fight desperately to protect Baek-jeong from the attackers. They realize that the rescue operation has been planned specifically to exploit the weaknesses of the police convoy. Despite their efforts, the Bloodhounds gradually overpower the officers. During the chaos, Baek-jeong manages to escape his restraints. He turns on the people who betrayed him and immediately confronts Sergeant Yun. Yun tries to defend himself, but Baek-jeong attacks him without hesitation. The man who finally chose his family and helped the police is killed by the very criminal he tried to bring down. Baek-jeong then escapes with the Bloodhounds while the police struggle to recover. Gang-yong and Gwang-mu are seriously injured during the ambush and are taken to the hospital. The arrest that seemed like a major victory has become a devastating defeat. Once free, Baek-jeong contacts Man-bae and immediately gives him another order. He wants So-yeon brought to him. The kidnapping plan is no longer optional. Baek-jeong now intends to use So-yeon to force Gun-woo into the death match he has been demanding. At the hotel where So-yeon and the others are staying, Tae-yeong notices that the Wi-Fi suddenly stops working. The unexpected outage makes her suspicious because the security system depends on the network. She realizes that someone may have deliberately cut the hotel's communications before an attack. The hotel guards immediately begin checking the building. They discover that armed Bloodhounds are approaching. The guards tell Woo-jin to contact the police while they attempt to hold the attackers back. So-yeon begs Woo-jin not to leave the hotel room. She knows that Woo-jin is still injured and that fighting again could make his condition even worse. Woo-jin refuses to stay hidden when the attackers are coming for So-yeon. He decides to go outside and protect her. Woo-jin encounters Kang In-beom, who has been assigned to the kidnapping operation. In-beom is significantly stronger than the injured Woo-jin, and the fight quickly becomes brutal. Woo-jin tries to use his technique and movement to survive, but his damaged hands prevent him from fighting at full strength. In-beom eventually overwhelms Woo-jin and begins beating him mercilessly. So-yeon watches from the hotel and realizes that Woo-jin may be killed if she remains hidden. Despite knowing exactly what the kidnappers want, she decides that she cannot allow Gun-woo's best friend to die protecting her. So-yeon walks outside and offers herself to In-beom. She tells him that she will go with them if they stop attacking Woo-jin. In-beom accepts the offer because So-yeon is the person Baek-jeong wants most. Woo-jin desperately tries to stop So-yeon from surrendering. He knows that taking her to Baek-jeong will place Gun-woo in an impossible position. But So-yeon refuses to change her mind. She chooses to sacrifice herself because she believes it is the only way to save Woo-jin's life. Episode 6 ends with So-yeon being taken away by In-beom while Woo-jin desperately tries to stop them. Gun-woo does not yet know that his mother has been captured, while Gang-yong and Gwang-mu are critically injured after the highway ambush. Baek-jeong is free again, Yun is dead, and the police operation has collapsed. With So-yeon now in Baek-jeong's hands, the situation has reached its most dangerous point. Baek-jeong has finally obtained the leverage he wanted from the beginning, while Gun-woo and Woo-jin are left with almost no time to prepare for the final confrontation.
