One year after leaving for New York, Bunny returns to Korea and reunites with her friends, but things are far more awkward with Jae-yeol than she expected. Although both clearly still have feelings for each other, neither is able to break the silence that has grown between them during their time apart. They unexpectedly end up in the same university elective class, where Jae-yeol keeps his distance despite secretly regretting everything that happened before Bunny left. Hoping to move on, Bunny spends time with Ji-won and later crosses paths with her childhood first love, Jin Hyun-oh, whose sudden reappearance brings back old memories. When Jae-yeol sees Bunny and Hyun-oh together, his jealousy finally forces him to confront the feelings he has been trying to suppress. During a university photoshoot and a hot-air balloon event, the rivalry between the two men becomes impossible to ignore. As Bunny prepares to board the balloon with Hyun-oh, Jae-yeol rushes over, grabs her hand, and desperately asks her not to go, ending the episode with their unresolved emotions hanging in the balance.
