Filing for Love Episode 7 begins with Joo In-ah finally deciding to tell Noh Ki-jun the truth about her history with Jeon Jae-yeol. But he recognizes that this conclusion could be influenced by his own feelings for her. Rather than pretending to be completely objective, he asks for more time to think clearly. In-ah is moved by his honesty and by the fact that he refuses to force her into an answer. The emotional tension follows them into Haemu Group's Strategic Planning Joint Workshop. The workshop is intended to bring together the Strategic Planning Division, Human Resources, and the Audit Office so that employees can relax and build stronger relationships outside the office. The event quickly becomes chaotic when the employees decide to replace a conventional team-building activity with a futsal match. In-ah announces that the MVP will receive a day off, which immediately makes Ki-jun much more competitive. Ki-jun refuses to back down, however, because his jealousy and frustration have taken over. Eventually, In-ah intervenes. She deliberately trips Ki-jun to stop the match from escalating further. Jae-yeol wins the match, but the result is less important than the tension between the two men. Afterward, Jae-yeol confronts Ki-jun and points out that In-ah clearly took his side by stopping him. His determination makes it clear that he has no intention of giving up simply because Jae-yeol was once an important part of her life. The workshop takes a serious turn when an employee named Song reports that someone secretly filmed her while she was showering. The incident immediately becomes a major audit and HR investigation because the filming appears to have happened inside the company's accommodation during the workshop. The audit team and HR begin checking employees' phones and belongings. At first, they cannot identify the culprit. There are no useful CCTV cameras around the accommodation, and the person who filmed Song was only seen from behind. The team learns that the suspect appeared to be wearing a men's department T-shirt and was using a white mobile phone. In-ah refuses to treat the incident as a minor personal scandal. She orders the team to investigate thoroughly, even considering the possibility that someone from the Audit Team could be responsible. HR Head Ahn Seung-woo is selected to participate in the search because he has a reputation for being responsible and trustworthy. The device provides the evidence the auditors need, and the contents reveal that Ahn has been secretly filming women in numerous places. The recordings include footage from elevators, offices, the company cafeteria, restrooms, subway rides, and even hidden angles beneath employees' desks. The discovery shocks everyone because Ahn had presented himself as a respectable family man and responsible HR executive. The evidence shows that his behavior was not an isolated incident at the workshop but part of a much larger pattern of illegal secret filming. Instead of quietly settling the case to protect Haemu's reputation, Ahn attempts to argue that exposing the incident publicly would damage the company's image. He demands a settlement and suggests that the company should consider its reputation before deciding how to punish him. In-ah responds by doing the exact opposite. Furious and humiliated, Ahn's resentment toward Ki-jun becomes dangerous. Ahn approaches Ki-jun at the office and attacks him with a knife. The attack happens suddenly, leaving Ki-jun seriously injured. The people nearby react in shock as Ki-jun is rushed to the emergency room. When In-ah hears what happened, her usual composure completely disappears. She immediately tries to reach Ki-jun. Jae-yeol offers to drive her to the hospital, but heavy traffic prevents them from getting there quickly enough. In-ah becomes increasingly desperate as she receives updates about Ki-jun's condition. She cannot remain in the car any longer. She gets out and begins running toward the hospital, ignoring the traffic and everything else around her. The episode ends with In-ah racing toward Ki-jun in complete panic. The woman who spent the entire episode trying to convince herself that workplace romance is too dangerous is now unable to hide how terrified she is of losing him. Episode 7 becomes a major turning point for Filing for Love. Ki-jun finally learns the truth about In-ah and Jae-yeol's painful history, but instead of giving up, he chooses to trust In-ah and wait for her. The workshop then exposes Ahn Seung-woo's disturbing secret-filming crimes and shows In-ah's willingness to protect employees even when doing so threatens the company's image. At the same time, Jae-yeol attempts to remove Ki-jun from In-ah's life by sending him to the United States. Just as Ki-jun's career appears to be moving forward, Ahn's revenge attack leaves him seriously injured. In-ah's desperate rush to the hospital reveals more clearly than any confession could that Ki-jun has become deeply important to her.
