Filing for Love Episode 8 begins immediately after Noh Ki-jun is stabbed by Ahn Seung-woo. Joo In-ah runs desperately toward the hospital after hearing that Ki-jun has been seriously injured. In-ah finally stops running from her feelings. Instead of waiting for Ki-jun to make the first move, she walks quickly toward him and pulls him into a passionate kiss. This time there is no hesitation, apology, or professional excuse. In-ah is the one who chooses to close the distance. The kiss confirms what both of them have been trying to deny: their feelings are real, mutual, and stronger than the obstacles surrounding them. Ki-jun finally gets the answer he has been waiting for, while In-ah allows herself to choose happiness instead of continuing to hide behind fear and responsibility. However, the episode ends with one final twist. The anonymous messages and accusations that originally caused Ki-jun to investigate In-ah were not sent by a mysterious stranger. The person behind the anonymous tips is revealed to be Park A-jeong. A-jeong has been secretly feeding information about In-ah's supposed relationship with Jae-yeol, manipulating the situation while presenting herself as Ki-jun's supportive former girlfriend. Her actions reveal that the romantic conflict surrounding Ki-jun and In-ah has been influenced by someone much closer to them than either of them realized.
