The tension surrounding APPELLO's biggest crisis reaches its peak as the company prepares to present its final customer profiling strategy to HAN. Ha-gi has deliberately kept the real proposal secret while feeding a different version to the suspected mole, hoping to identify who has been leaking APPELLO's confidential information to SE:ON. As the presentation begins, SE:ON unexpectedly presents almost the exact same strategy, proving that APPELLO's information was leaked. With the original strategy already prepared, Ha-gi steps in and delivers the genuine proposal, explaining that HAN's customers are not simply attracted by scarcity but are people who develop their own distinct tastes and remain loyal to brands that stay true to their identity. Da-reum's insight into fashion, personal taste, and lifelong fandom becomes an important part of the presentation, helping APPELLO stand apart from SE:ON. The trap finally exposes the person behind the corporate leaks. Ha-gi discovers that Choi Seong-wook, someone he had trusted like family, betrayed APPELLO and secretly worked with SE. Seong-wook admits that his own business collapsed, leaving him buried in debt and desperate for money. He also reveals the bitterness he had carried while watching Ha-gi's success grow while he felt increasingly left behind. The betrayal devastates Ha-gi because he cannot understand how he failed to notice the pain of someone who had been beside him for so long. His guilt becomes even more painful when it brings back memories of his mother, whose suffering he also failed to recognize until it was too late. Ha-gi withdraws from everyone after the betrayal, refusing to come to work and becoming isolated. Da-reum eventually finds him and realizes that his seemingly cold personality comes from fear rather than indifference. She understands that Ha-gi is terrified of losing people again and believes he constantly worries that he will be too late to save the people he cares about. Instead of forcing him to recover immediately, Da-reum promises to stay beside him and tells him that it is okay to fall apart sometimes. Her words finally allow Ha-gi to confront his pain rather than hide from it. Meanwhile, APPELLO continues working through the crisis, and the company receives the news that it has been selected as HAN's official Korean partner. Jeong-yeon prepares to return to France to oversee HAN's launch and asks Ha-gi to send an APPELLO employee to Paris. She also speaks honestly with Da-reum and acknowledges how much she admires her work. During their dinner together, Jeong-yeon reveals more about her difficult past, including leaving Korea to study abroad after her mother remarried and the loneliness she experienced while building her career. She compliments Da-reum's warmth and admits that she understands why Ha-gi chose her, even joking that she would like to steal him. Rather than allowing jealousy to return, Da-reum becomes more confident in her relationship with Ha-gi. Ha-gi also begins repairing his relationship with Chan. On the anniversary of his mother's death, Chan realizes how much Ha-gi has suffered since their childhood and regrets not understanding his pain earlier. He tells Ha-gi that both he and Da-reum are important to him and asks Ha-gi to make Da-reum happy. Chan is also faced with an important decision about his own future. Although he has a movie contract and opportunities in the United States, he realizes that he still misses D.N.X. Encouraged to stop running away from the members and confront his regrets, Chan returns to the former D.N.X members and admits that he wants to try again. He asks them to reunite and start over together, while the group continues to wonder whether Roy can also return. As Ha-gi and Da-reum grow closer, Da-reum finally decides to stop hiding the part of herself that has shaped her life for twelve years. She invites Ha-gi into her room and shows him her secret collection of Lee Chan and D.N.X memorabilia, explaining that her years as a fan are part of who she is and that she no longer wants to hide them. Ha-gi accepts this side of her completely and even admits that he is grateful to Chan because Da-reum's longtime love for her bias ultimately helped bring the two of them together. Their relationship becomes more intimate as they openly share their secrets, memories, and vulnerabilities. However, their happiness is soon challenged by a new opportunity. After working on HAN's project and discovering a stronger desire to grow, Da-reum begins considering an overseas assignment in Paris. She knows that the opportunity could help her career and give her a chance to challenge herself in a completely new environment, but it would also mean being separated from Ha-gi just as their relationship has finally become secure. At the end of the episode, Da-reum asks Ha-gi whether she should apply to work in Paris. Ha-gi understands that it is a tremendous opportunity for her, but privately struggles with the thought of letting her leave. Their love has survived misunderstanding, betrayal, and emotional wounds, but now they must face a new challenge: choosing between a promising future together and the individual dreams they each want to pursue.
