Our Universe Episode 10 begins with the emotional distance between Tae-hyung and Hyun-jin becoming impossible to ignore. At Woo-joo's daycare recital, Yoon-seong arrives to support Hyun-jin and the child. Tae-hyung also turns up, but seeing Hyun-jin and Yoon-seong together makes him realise that he may have already lost his place in their lives. Instead of approaching them, he quietly leaves. Back at the photography studio, Tae-hyung learns that Manager Jo is preparing to leave for the United States. Jo has decided to step away from his position and start over overseas, partly because his complicated relationship with photographer Amy Choo has become too painful. Tae-hyung watches the situation unfold and begins thinking about his own life. If staying in Korea only means watching Hyun-jin become closer to Yoon-seong, perhaps leaving the country would be easier than continuing to fight feelings he believes he should let go of. The following day, Tae-hyung receives an unexpected call from the neighbours. Ms. Park is suffering from severe back pain and needs to go to the hospital, but Hyun-jin cannot be reached. They ask Tae-hyung to pick Woo-joo up from daycare. Without hesitation, he goes to collect the child. Tae-hyung spends the day with Woo-joo, taking him to a bookstore and buying him new books before bringing him back to his own apartment. The place that was once a carefully controlled, minimalist home now looks completely different. There are toys, children's books and safety equipment everywhere. It has quietly become a home designed around Woo-joo. When Tae-hyung eventually brings Woo-joo back to Hyun-jin's place, the atmosphere between the adults is awkward. They speak politely and avoid discussing their feelings. Tae-hyung tells Hyun-jin that he can continue picking Woo-joo up from daycare while Ms. Park recovers. He is still trying to remain part of Woo-joo's life even though he has chosen to live separately. After Tae-hyung leaves, Hyun-jin notices something he has accidentally left behind — the old lamp from their very first meeting. The object brings back memories of how badly they initially misunderstood each other and how completely their relationship has changed since then. What once represented an unpleasant first encounter now feels like a piece of their shared history. The next morning, Yoon-seong waits downstairs for Hyun-jin and offers to drive her and Woo-joo to work and daycare. He is attentive and dependable, and he suggests that they could carpool regularly. Hyun-jin appreciates his kindness but feels uncomfortable with how quickly he is becoming part of her daily routine. She is still emotionally affected by Tae-hyung's absence. At the studio, Tae-hyung tells Amy Choo that Manager Jo is leaving for the United States on the 13th. Amy later discovers a detailed report Jo prepared before leaving, documenting her habits, preferences and everything she needs for her work. Reading it makes her realise how deeply he has cared about her even when he rarely expressed his feelings directly. Tae-hyung later joins Hyun-jin and Yoon-seong at BS Food for an interview about the successful GloMarket project. Although the situation is awkward, Tae-hyung and Hyun-jin naturally acknowledge each other's contributions. Their professional conversation reminds Hyun-jin how well they used to work together and how much she misses having him around. Later, Tae-hyung picks Woo-joo up from daycare again and takes him to Ms. Park's house. When she asks him to collect some diapers from Hyun-jin's apartment, he enters the house and discovers that it is a complete mess. Rather than simply taking the diapers and leaving, Tae-hyung cleans the apartment and even cooks a fresh batch of rice. His actions are quiet and practical, but they reveal that he still cares deeply about Hyun-jin's wellbeing. When Hyun-jin returns and sees what Tae-hyung has done, she is touched. She realises that even though he has moved out, he continues to look after her in small ways. At the same time, she is saddened because she understands that he may be deliberately creating distance between them. Hyun-jin meets Se-yeon at a cafe and finally admits that Yoon-seong's kindness has begun to make her uncomfortable. He remembers her preferences, takes care of Woo-joo and constantly tries to make her life easier, but instead of making her fall deeper in love with him, his attention makes her think more about Tae-hyung. Se-yeon tells her that this may be because Hyun-jin simply does not return Yoon-seong's feelings in the same way. Se-yeon encourages Hyun-jin to go through with the third date anyway. She tells her that she should not reject Yoon-seong simply because she is confused. If she spends one more day with him and still cannot imagine a future together, then she will have her answer. Meanwhile, Tae-hyung's friends visit his apartment and are shocked by how much it has changed. The once-empty space is now full of toys and child-safety equipment. Tae-hyung has even arranged things specifically for Woo-joo. His friends realise that although Tae-hyung moved out of Hyun-jin's home, he has not actually moved on from the family they created together. During their conversation, Seung-taek complains about Manager Jo leaving for the United States instead of telling Amy how he really feels. His words strike Tae-hyung deeply. He begins wondering whether he is making the same mistake by leaving Hyun-jin without giving her another chance to understand his feelings. For Hyun-jin's third date, Yoon-seong takes her to the orphanage where he grew up. He brings food and presents for the children and shows Hyun-jin the place that shaped him. She sees a young child waiting for her mother to return and immediately thinks of Tae-hyung and the abandonment he experienced as a child. Yoon-seong tells Hyun-jin more about his childhood and explains why he understands the importance of having someone who stays. His kindness is genuine, and Hyun-jin appreciates him, but she cannot stop thinking about Tae-hyung. Even during a date with the man who was once her first love, her thoughts keep returning to the person who became her unexpected family. While they are at the orphanage, Hyun-jin receives a phone call from a colleague asking about a work report. During the conversation, the colleague casually mentions that Tae-hyung is apparently going to the United States and may remain there permanently. Hyun-jin is stunned. She had no idea Tae-hyung was planning to leave the country. At the studio, Tae-hyung finds Amy Choo drinking alone after learning that Manager Jo is leaving. She insists that she is not good enough for him and that there is no reason for him to stay because of her. Tae-hyung understands that Amy will regret letting him leave without saying what she really feels. Remembering his own situation with Hyun-jin, Tae-hyung decides not to let Amy make the same mistake. He takes her to the airport so she can stop Manager Jo before he leaves. The situation makes Tae-hyung realise that he also needs to confront his own feelings rather than simply disappear from Hyun-jin's life. At the orphanage, rain begins falling. Hyun-jin remembers Tae-hyung's promise that he would stay beside her until the rain stopped and that he would not leave her alone when she needed him. The memory finally makes her decision clear. She tells Yoon-seong that she needs to go and rushes to the airport. Hyun-jin arrives at the airport and sees Tae-hyung carrying luggage. She assumes that he is the one leaving the country. Without waiting for an explanation, she runs toward him and begs him not to go. She tells him that she has been thinking about him constantly and that the idea of him disappearing from her life hurts more than she expected. Tae-hyung tries to explain that the luggage belongs to Manager Jo and that he is not actually leaving. But Hyun-jin stops him before he can finish. She finally admits what she has been unable to say throughout their entire relationship: she likes him. Overwhelmed by everything she has been holding back, Hyun-jin kisses Tae-hyung. He is initially stunned, but then responds to her kiss and finally allows himself to believe that his feelings are returned. The emotional distance that has separated them since Tae-hyung moved out disappears in an instant. When Hyun-jin pulls away, Tae-hyung reassures her that he is not going anywhere. After all the misunderstandings, sacrifices and attempts to protect each other by staying apart, the two finally choose each other openly. Episode 10 ends with Tae-hyung and Hyun-jin finally becoming a couple. Their airport reunion resolves the love triangle that has dominated the middle part of the story, while Tae-hyung's relationship with Woo-joo remains an important part of their future. What began with a broken lamp, a tragic accident and an unwilling co-parenting arrangement has finally turned into a genuine love story.
