Take Charge of My Heart Episode 1 — Hindi Dubbed

Take Charge of My Heart Episode 1 introduces Na Bo-bae, an aspiring television screenwriter who dreams of creating unforgettable romantic stories but struggles with a serious problem: she has almost no personal experience with romance. Approaching the age of 30, Bo-bae is under pressure to prove herself professionally before her writing contract expires. Her difficulty becomes especially apparent when she tries to write convincing romantic scenes, particularly the intimate moments that make a love story believable. For someone who has spent much of her life avoiding physical contact, writing about love is far more complicated than it sounds. Bo-bae's unusual circumstances began when she was struck by lightning as a child. Since that incident, her body has developed a mysterious electrical charge that can shock people when she touches them. Something as simple as holding hands with someone she likes has become a potentially dangerous experience. She has learned to keep her distance, often relying on protective precautions to avoid accidentally hurting others. Although she wants the ordinary happiness of falling in love, her strange ability has made physical intimacy an almost impossible dream. At home, Bo-bae lives with the expectations and encouragement of her family, whose practical attitude contrasts with her romantic imagination. They want her to succeed, but her approaching deadline means she cannot postpone important decisions about her career forever. Determined to find inspiration for her writing, she continues searching for the kind of romantic experience that could help her understand the emotions she wants to put on paper. Meanwhile, Baek Ho-rang lives in a completely different world. A wealthy third-generation chaebol heir and executive director at TS Resort, he is intelligent, disciplined, and accustomed to maintaining control. He is also a serious contender in the struggle over the future leadership of TS Group. Behind his polished appearance, however, lies a secret that threatens everything he has worked to achieve: his heart is artificial, and its battery is approaching a critical limit. His medical condition makes an upcoming operation essential, while the corporate succession battle gives him even more reason to remain alive and in control. The paths of these two seemingly incompatible people cross in an unexpected encounter. Bo-bae finds herself drawn to a handsome man and begins imagining how someone like him might fit into the romantic stories she writes. Their encounter quickly turns awkward and unpredictable, but it produces a discovery that neither could have anticipated. Unlike everyone else Bo-bae has touched, Ho-rang does not react to her electrical charge in the usual way. For the first time, she encounters someone who appears capable of touching her without suffering the consequences of her mysterious condition. For Bo-bae, this discovery is more than an unusual coincidence. It raises the possibility that she might finally experience the physical closeness she has always avoided. She becomes curious about the man who seems immune to her electricity, while Ho-rang has his own reasons for being preoccupied with the encounter. Their initial connection is marked by confusion, surprise, and the kind of awkward romantic tension that neither character knows how to handle. Ho-rang's medical crisis soon becomes more urgent. As he undergoes a procedure to replace his artificial heart's battery with a more powerful one, a severe storm causes a hospital power failure that disrupts the operation. The unexpected interruption leaves his new battery dangerously low. In the aftermath, an extraordinary pattern begins to emerge: his heart's power level responds to Bo-bae's presence, suggesting that the woman whose touch is dangerous to everyone else may be uniquely capable of keeping him alive. This discovery changes the meaning of their first encounter. Bo-bae may have found the one person with whom physical intimacy is possible, while Ho-rang may have found an unexpected solution to his rapidly approaching medical deadline. Yet neither of them can ignore the complications that come with such an unusual connection. She wants to understand romance and save her writing career, while he must protect his health and secure his position in a powerful family business. Episode 1 establishes the central premise of Take Charge of My Heart through a blend of supernatural fantasy, workplace pressure, family expectations, and romantic comedy. Bo-bae's electrical powers have kept her isolated from the kind of relationship she longs for, and Ho-rang's artificial heart has made his future dependent on a technology that is running out of power. Their accidental meeting creates a possibility neither had considered: the very thing that separates Bo-bae from other people might be what connects her to Ho-rang. By the end of the episode, their unusual compatibility has opened the door to a relationship that could change both their lives. Can Bo-bae finally experience the romance she has struggled to write, and can Ho-rang find a way to keep his artificial heart beating while fighting for his future? Their story begins with an unexpected encounter, a mysterious electrical connection, and the promise of an arrangement that could turn an extraordinary medical problem into an equally extraordinary love story.
