Episode 11 of The Apartment Job enters the final stretch with Park Hae-gang and his makeshift family standing closer than ever to the truth behind the money and the corruption surrounding True Value State. After everything Hae-gang has lost, the apartment operation is no longer simply a way to make money. The people inside the building have become his allies, and the family that began as a deception has turned into the group he trusts most. The episode places particular attention on the money that has become the center of the entire conflict. Hae-gang and the others work together to protect it while also trying to stay ahead of Lee Chung-won and the network surrounding him. The tension rises as the group realizes that having the money is not the same thing as being able to keep it. Chung-won's influence continues to hang over the apartment, turning even a simple security plan into a potential trap. Hae-gang and Kang Ha-ri also share some of the episode's warmer moments as the group works together. Their relationship remains complicated by the fact that their marriage began as part of a scheme, but the trust between them has become genuine. The contrast between the original fake family arrangement and the loyalty they now show one another becomes one of Episode 11's strongest themes. The situation takes a dramatic turn when Hwang In-sik, better known as Lizard, becomes separated from the others while the group is watching over the apartment and the money. His disappearance immediately creates suspicion because he is one of the few people with enough knowledge about the original apartment scheme to know exactly where the money is and how valuable it is. The timing makes everyone wonder whether Lizard has betrayed Hae-gang or whether something more complicated has happened behind the scenes. The episode deliberately builds the mystery around Lizard. From the point of view of Hae-gang and the others, it appears possible that he has taken the money and abandoned the family. At the same time, the circumstances surrounding his disappearance leave another possibility open: that Lizard has been targeted or taken by someone else. The uncertainty becomes especially important because Lee Chung-won has already demonstrated that he is capable of manipulating people and using others to protect his interests. As the group tries to understand what happened, the money itself becomes the episode's biggest source of fear. The carefully protected cash is suddenly no longer where everyone expects it to be, turning the final operation into a race against time. Hae-gang must determine whether he has been betrayed by one of his own people or whether Chung-won has made another move without being detected. Episode 11 ends on a major cliffhanger. Lizard's disappearance and the apparent movement of the money leave Hae-gang's entire plan in jeopardy just one episode before the finale. The final moments deliberately make the audience question whether Lizard really betrayed the group, whether he was abducted, and what Chung-won knows about the missing money. The mystery is carried directly into Episode 12, making Episode 11 the penultimate chapter of The Apartment Job. The Apartment Job Episode 11 aired on August 15, 2026.
