The Early Spring Episode 2 — Hindi Dubbed

The Early Spring Episode 2 begins with Shang Zhitao being startled by a mysterious young man outside her apartment. Her scream causes him to drop two jars of chili sauce, and the misunderstanding is quickly cleared up when her roommate Sun Yu comes out of the bathroom. The stranger introduces himself as Sun Yuanzhu, the new male roommate. He explains that he noticed Zhitao was nervous downstairs and deliberately kept his distance, although his attempt to avoid frightening her ultimately had the opposite effect. Zhitao learns that Sun Yu works for a matchmaking website while Sun Yuanzhu is an IT professional, and the three begin settling into their unusual new living arrangement. Back at Lime Advertising, Lumi brings Luan Nian some bad news. Qipai, a longtime client, has been taken by Alex's team in Division Two after they offered the company a significantly cheaper proposal. Rather than becoming distracted by the loss, Luan Nian immediately turns his attention toward a larger opportunity: the Mulanshuo e-commerce account. The project carries a budget around twenty percent higher than Qipai's, making it an important opportunity for Lime. Lumi explains that Mulanshuo wants to work with Laiyu, a Guangzhou-based production company. She suggests taking Shang Zhitao along because of the newcomer's patient and dependable working style. Although Luan Nian still remembers Zhitao as the stubborn new employee who damaged his antique typewriter, he agrees to let her participate in the Guangzhou assignment. The business trip also has greater significance inside Lime. HR Director Liang Xin tells Luan Nian that the company will appoint an interim general manager in three months, with business performance becoming an important factor in determining whether Luan Nian or Alex receives the position. Luan Nian remains confident that the Mulanshuo proposal can compensate for the loss of Qipai. He asks Lumi to arrange flights to Guangzhou for himself, Lumi and Zhitao. At the airport, Zhitao uses the waiting time to study English in preparation for the trip. When Lumi offers to buy her coffee, Zhitao politely offers to pay for it herself. Luan Nian dismisses the gesture and tells her not to rely on superficial workplace politeness. His blunt comments once again make Zhitao uncomfortable, but she continues focusing on learning and proving herself rather than arguing with him. After arriving in Guangzhou, the team meets Mr. Li, the head of Laiyu. Luan Nian discovers that Li has not forgotten an incident from four years earlier, when Luan Nian rejected Laiyu's production crew. Li deliberately arrives late and refuses to cooperate, claiming that his company is already fully booked. Luan Nian recognizes that the rejection is personal rather than a genuine scheduling problem and decides not to waste time trying to persuade him directly. Instead, Luan Nian asks Lumi to investigate Laiyu's recent work, frequent directors and brand collaborations to identify a possible opening. The research reveals that director Tian Zheng is connected to an upcoming production and that Laiyu is looking for extras. Zhitao volunteers to enter the filming location as an extra so she can approach Tian Zheng directly. With Luan Nian's guidance relayed through Lumi, Zhitao uses the opportunity to introduce a potential Taobao advertising project to the director. Zhitao's initiative pays off. Tian Zheng becomes interested in the proposal, giving Lime the leverage it needs to overcome Mr. Li's resistance. With the possibility of securing a valuable commercial partnership and strengthening Laiyu's position in Guangzhou, Li is eventually forced to put his personal resentment aside and agree to work with Luan Nian's team. The difficult business negotiation turns into a successful deal. That evening, the group celebrates with a dinner. Lumi helps Zhitao prepare for the occasion and gives her an elegant outfit to wear. During the meal, Mr. Li repeatedly directs his attention toward Zhitao, asking intrusive questions about her personal life and encouraging her to drink. Lumi steps in to take over some of the toasts, while Luan Nian quietly gives Zhitao his phone and tells her to monitor an important conference call. He specifically instructs her not to answer calls or messages, giving her a legitimate reason to leave the uncomfortable situation. After dinner, Zhitao waits outside for Luan Nian. Rather than allowing her to return alone after drinking, he chooses to walk back to the hotel with her so she can clear her head. During their walk, Luan Nian advises her to be more careful when clients ask personal questions, particularly questions about whether she has a boyfriend. He explains that overly direct answers can sometimes encourage unwanted attention in professional situations. Zhitao then turns the advice back on him and teasingly asks whether his own single status means she has a chance with him. Luan Nian responds dryly by telling her to go to sleep and continue dreaming. The exchange reveals a noticeably lighter side of their relationship. As the night becomes colder, Luan Nian gives Zhitao his coat. When she hesitates, he personally places it around her shoulders. Their walk is interrupted when a woman named Zang Yao suddenly appears and embraces Luan Nian. Zhitao immediately understands that they may need privacy and excuses herself. Later, she goes to Luan Nian's hotel room to return his coat. She hesitates at the doorway, worried about entering his room and imagining an awkward situation. Luan Nian quickly realizes what she is thinking and criticizes her for making assumptions. He gives her documents to deliver to Lumi and tells her to concentrate on actual work instead of inventing stories in her head. After the Guangzhou trip, Zhitao returns to Beijing and is welcomed home by Sun Yu, Sun Yuanzhu and their landlord Zhang Lei. Zhang Lei has returned from a long business trip and prepares food for everyone while offering the roommates a reduction in rent. The relaxed dinner gives Zhitao a brief break from the intense pressure of her new job. The work problems soon return. Lumi asks Zhitao to follow up with Luan Nian regarding approval for the business-trip expenses. Zhitao calls him late at night, and although Luan Nian initially questions why the matter is being handled so urgently, he eventually approves the budget online. He notices that Zhitao remains quietly on the call until he disconnects and recognizes her patience as one of her useful qualities. As the Mulanshuo commercial enters production, the client begins requesting repeated subjective changes. The constant revisions threaten to delay the project and create friction between the different teams. Zhitao seeks Luan Nian's advice, and he teaches her a more professional way to handle the situation: establish a formal work group, move important communication into official emails, clearly record every requested change and copy all relevant stakeholders. Most importantly, he tells her that anyone demanding a change should also provide a workable solution rather than simply criticizing someone else's work. The episode closes back at Lime Advertising. While a cleaner is working inside Luan Nian's office, a small object is discovered on the floor. It is a key from the antique typewriter that Zhitao accidentally damaged during her first interview. When Zhitao recognizes it, she immediately claims the piece and quietly holds it in her hand. The tiny object becomes a reminder of their first difficult encounter and hints at how much their relationship has already begun to change.
