The Early Spring Episode 24 brings Shang Zhitao and Luan Nian's long and complicated relationship to its emotional conclusion. Zhitao's newly established company, Qingtao Creative Event Studio, suddenly faces a serious financial crisis when several clients delay payments, a denim promotion is canceled and the sponsor of an ice sculpture event reduces its budget. Determined not to give up on the business she built herself, Zhitao decides to continue the event and even risks mortgaging her apartment to obtain the funding needed to keep the company operating. Fu Dong, who has remained loyal since becoming her first employee, promises to stand by her even if they have to work without salaries. At the same time, Luan Nian quietly uses his connections to bring potential clients to Zhitao's company. Realizing that she needs experienced help, he offers to relocate to Harbin and work for her without pay for six months. Zhitao eventually accepts him as her driver, allowing Luan Nian to become part of her daily life again while respecting the professional boundaries she has established. He visits her parents with gifts and health supplements, helps with the company and takes care of Luke alongside Zhitao. When Luke suddenly becomes ill, Zhitao immediately calls Luan Nian, and he rushes over to help. His concern and patience further soften the distance between them, although Zhitao still hesitates when he tries to become physically closer to her. Later, Zhitao meets Lumi for drinks and admits that Luan Nian has been treating her extremely well. Lumi encourages her to stop running from her feelings and give him another chance. Zhitao's remaining doubts begin to disappear when Tan Mian sends her a secret video of Luan Nian standing beneath the Northern Lights and openly confessing how deeply he loves her and regrets losing her. That night, Zhitao and Luan Nian finally have an emotional reconciliation. When he embraces her and promises to stop if she is uncomfortable, she no longer pushes him away. The following morning, Zhitao's father unexpectedly discovers Luan Nian at her apartment. Instead of hiding from the situation, Luan Nian accepts responsibility and honestly explains that he and Zhitao had been together for six years before a painful misunderstanding separated them. He tells her parents that he is ready to marry Zhitao whenever she agrees. After her parents leave, Luan Nian finally explains the truth behind many of the misunderstandings that destroyed their relationship, including his jealousy, his inability to express affection and the sacrifices he made for her over the years. He reveals that he secretly traveled to different cities simply to catch a glimpse of her and had preserved many precious memories from her childhood. Zhitao is deeply moved when she discovers that he has created a private museum filled with her childhood belongings, photographs, memories and the old bucket list she once wrote. Luan Nian promises to help her fulfill every dream on that list and asks for a place in her future. In the final romantic moment, Luke appears wearing a sign asking Zhitao to marry his father. Luan Nian gets down on one knee and proposes to her with a ring. Surrounded by Lumi and their close friends, Zhitao tearfully accepts. Luan Nian places the ring on her finger, and the two finally embrace and kiss, bringing their six-year love story to a hopeful and happy ending.
