Episode 66 of The Nightfall (Bir Gece Masalı) brings the 22nd Turkish episode to its darkest turning point as Mahir and Canfeza's romantic escape is shattered by Selim and Boris's carefully prepared trap. The couple had finally managed to spend a private night together at the mountain house, believing they had escaped the problems surrounding their families. However, the danger has followed them, and Canfeza soon becomes the target of a kidnapping plan. While Mahir is away, Savaş takes Canfeza and brings her to Boris. Canfeza realizes that something is terribly wrong and struggles against the people holding her. During the struggle, Savaş falls into the pit he had prepared and is shot, leaving him unable to prevent Selim from carrying out the plan. Selim takes Canfeza away while Mahir is left powerless to stop him. Mahir is eventually overpowered and placed inside a coffin. Despite Canfeza's desperate resistance and Mahir's attempts to fight back, Selim's plan succeeds. Mahir is buried alive, trapped underground with no obvious way to escape. Meanwhile, the family continues facing the consequences of the events surrounding Ferman and Efsane.
