Episode 85 of The Nightfall (Bir Gece Masali) begins immediately after the dangerous confrontation at Ozan's house. Mahir and Canfeza narrowly escape being caught while trying to find Gökçe, but their attempt to uncover Ozan's secret is far from over. The danger they experienced inside the house changes the way Canfeza sees her brother. She can no longer convince herself that Ozan's return to the family is harmless. His decision to keep Gökçe hidden and his willingness to use extreme measures make it clear that there is a much darker story behind his behavior. Mahir remains determined to find Gökçe. He believes that the young woman may possess information capable of exposing Ozan's real plans, and he refuses to abandon the search simply because their first attempt ended in danger. Canfeza stays beside Mahir and agrees that they need to continue investigating. Their marriage is now stronger because they have finally learned to trust each other, and instead of allowing Ozan to divide them, they decide to confront the mystery together. Mahir and Canfeza begin following the clues surrounding Gökçe. They understand that Ozan would not have brought her into his house unless she was extremely important to whatever he is trying to hide. Meanwhile, Ozan realizes that Mahir and Canfeza are getting dangerously close to the truth. Their escape from his house makes him even more nervous because he knows they may now understand that Gökçe was being kept there. Ozan's biggest problem is that Gökçe cannot remain where she was. If Mahir returns or if another member of the family discovers her, the secret could collapse. Ozan therefore begins searching for another way to keep Gökçe under control. Handan also becomes aware of the danger surrounding Gökçe. She understands that Ozan's actions could expose secrets that have remained hidden for years and decides that Gökçe must be moved before Mahir can find her again. Handan manages to act before Mahir and Canfeza can reach Gökçe. She gets Gökçe out of the immediate danger and sends her to another location, making the search much more difficult for Mahir. Mahir and Canfeza are frustrated when they realize that Gökçe has disappeared again. They had been hoping that finding her would finally provide the missing evidence they needed against Ozan, but now they have to determine where Handan has taken her. The situation also reveals how closely Handan is connected to Ozan's secret. Her actions make it clear that she knows much more about Gökçe and Ozan than she has admitted to the family. Ozan becomes increasingly desperate when he realizes that Handan has moved Gökçe. Instead of calmly dealing with his mother, he threatens her and makes it clear that he will not allow anyone to interfere with his plans. Ozan also discovers another way to pressure Handan: Sare. He knows that Handan cares about what happens to Sare and uses his sister as leverage against his mother. The threat places Sare in an increasingly dangerous position. She is already confused by the strange behavior of the people around her, and she begins to understand that her mother and brother are hiding something serious. Sare's suspicions continue growing. She watches the way Handan reacts to Ozan and realizes that their relationship is not what she once believed. The more she learns, the more she feels that she has been used by the people she trusted. Mahir and Canfeza also continue trying to understand the connection between Ozan, Handan and Gökçe. They know that finding Gökçe is no longer simply a rescue mission; it may be the key to uncovering the entire network behind Ozan. Their investigation leads them toward another clue. The information does not immediately reveal where Gökçe is, but it gives Mahir a new direction to follow. Canfeza remains beside him as they prepare to pursue it. The couple's renewed closeness becomes an important part of the investigation. Mahir no longer tries to protect Canfeza by keeping her away from dangerous information. Instead, he explains what he discovers and allows her to make decisions with him. Canfeza also becomes more determined to uncover the truth. Ozan's actions have destroyed the trust she once had in him, and she now wants to understand why he returned to their family and what he has been hiding all these years. Elsewhere, Ferman faces a completely different crisis. His father has cut off his access to money, leaving him desperate for cash. Ferman needs money and begins making increasingly risky decisions. Ferman secretly enters the house and takes gold and money from his room. He plans to use the money as capital for gambling, believing that he can solve his financial problems by winning. His decision puts him on a dangerous path. What begins as an attempt to solve a financial problem quickly becomes another serious threat to the family because Ferman is gambling with money he cannot afford to lose. Afet and Süreyya meanwhile continue dealing with Fatma. Afet wants to find a way to remove Fatma from the household and begins considering a marriage arrangement that could solve the problem. Afet's plan creates another complicated situation because the man she introduces to Fatma becomes interested in Süreyya instead. The unexpected development threatens to create another romantic and family conflict inside the mansion. While these family problems continue, Mahir and Canfeza remain focused on the mystery of Gökçe. They know that Ozan will continue trying to hide her and that every minute gives him another opportunity to destroy evidence. The clues also begin suggesting that Ozan's connection to Gökçe is much deeper than Mahir originally believed. Gökçe is not simply someone Ozan is protecting; there is a personal relationship between them that has yet to be fully understood. Mahir realizes that the mystery may eventually lead beyond Ozan and Raşit. The more pieces he connects, the more it appears that several people have been involved in keeping the truth hidden. Canfeza remains determined to stay with Mahir despite the danger. Their relationship has changed from the beginning of the Ozan conflict, and they now understand that their best chance of surviving the situation is to trust each other completely. Episode 85 closes with Mahir and Canfeza continuing their search after discovering that Gökçe has been moved. Handan's involvement becomes increasingly suspicious, while Ozan's threats against his mother and Sare show how desperate he has become. At the same time, Ferman's decision to gamble with the money he secretly took from the house begins creating a separate crisis. Mahir and Canfeza's investigation, Ozan's threats, Handan's secret involvement and Ferman's dangerous financial decision all prepare the next portion of the story. The biggest mystery remains Gökçe's whereabouts and her true connection to Ozan. Mahir and Canfeza now know that finding her is essential, but Ozan is becoming more desperate and dangerous with every step they take toward the truth.
