Crush Episode 20 — Hindi Dubbed

After their unexpected reunion, Su Nianqin continues trying to win Sang Wuyan back. One rainy evening, he waits outside the radio station to take her home. Wuyan is still guarded around him, but she cannot completely ignore her concern for him. When Nianqin later tells her that he has caught a cold and is in the hospital, she hurries to visit him. She soon discovers that his condition is not serious and realises he exaggerated his illness to get her attention. Although she scolds him for making her worry, her visit reveals that she still cares about his well-being. Nianqin quietly makes sure Wuyan gets home safely and calls to check why she has not turned on the lights. He asks whether she is free the following day and suggests that they start dating again. He even proposes going to the cinema together, hoping to create a fresh beginning instead of continuing to argue about their painful past. Wuyan refuses because the next day is the anniversary of her father's death. Nianqin falls silent, overwhelmed by guilt because he knows how deeply his behaviour contributed to the pain surrounding their separation. Wuyan visits her father's grave with her mother. During the visit, Wu Yu calls her again. Wuyan firmly tells him that her earlier decision to reject a romantic relationship was sincere. Her mother overhears the conversation and encourages her to find a caring partner and settle down, explaining that a man's character matters more than his family's wealth or social status. Wuyan does not tell her mother that her feelings for Nianqin remain unresolved. While shopping, Wuyan notices an item of clothing that she thinks would look good on Nianqin. She quickly pushes the thought away, frustrated that she still remembers his preferences after three years apart. Outside the shopping centre, she runs into Peng Ruixing, who continues to take an interest in her because she is the woman Nianqin loves. As they try to avoid an approaching bicycle, Wuyan falls and suffers a minor injury to her forehead. Peng takes her to the hospital to have the wound treated. Peng Ruixing decides to test how deeply Nianqin cares for Wuyan and also hopes to discourage his older sister, Peng Danqi, from pursuing Nianqin. He calls Nianqin and falsely claims that Wuyan has been involved in a serious traffic accident. Nianqin immediately interrupts an important business meeting and rushes to the hospital, terrified that something has happened to her. His urgent reaction makes clear that his feelings for Wuyan remain stronger than his pride or professional responsibilities. However, Wuyan learns that Peng exaggerated the incident to provoke Nianqin. Angry that he used her to test someone else's feelings, she leaves the hospital before Nianqin arrives. The two narrowly miss each other. When Nianqin finally reaches Peng, he discovers that Wuyan is safe and that the accident was not as serious as he had been told. Relieved that she is unharmed, he warns Peng not to involve himself in Wuyan's life or use her to manipulate his emotions. Wuyan leaves the hospital distracted by thoughts of Nianqin and their unresolved relationship. She becomes so absorbed in her memories that she misses her stop on the bus. Nianqin, meanwhile, cannot simply return to work and forget about her. He searches for her along the bus route, determined to make sure she reaches home safely. After a long search, he finally finds her at a remote bus terminal. Seeing how desperately Nianqin searched for her, Wuyan is moved despite herself. His actions make it difficult for her to believe that he no longer cares or that their relationship meant nothing to him. Still, she remains afraid of allowing herself to love him again because she remembers how painful their previous separation was. Yu Xiaolu learns that Nianqin has been pursuing Wuyan and travels to Tongcheng to speak with her. She explains that Nianqin never truly stopped caring about Wuyan during their three years apart. Although he did not dare approach her, he quietly kept track of her life and helped her in ways she never knew about. He arranged for her father's university office to be preserved, helped her obtain a night-shift radio job, and only travelled to Tongcheng after learning that she might begin a relationship with another man. Xiaolu also explains why Nianqin stayed away for so long. He was overwhelmed by guilt over Wuyan's father's death and could not face the woman he had hurt. His distance was not proof that he had forgotten her; it was a way of avoiding the pain and responsibility he associated with their separation. Xiaolu urges Wuyan to consider his actions rather than judge him only by the hurtful words he spoke in the past. Wuyan is shocked by the revelation. She feels that Nianqin's behaviour has changed so dramatically that she no longer knows how to respond to him. If he had continued to act coldly, she believes she could have forced herself to move on. But learning that he has been quietly protecting and supporting her makes it much harder to suppress her feelings. She is angry that he never told her the truth, yet deeply touched that he continued caring for her when she believed she had been forgotten. Overwhelmed by these emotions, Wuyan meets Xu Qian and drinks with her. As the evening progresses, she becomes drunk and calls Nianqin. Instead of speaking calmly, she scolds him and demands to know why he has behaved this way. Nianqin immediately contacts Xu Qian to find out where Wuyan is and goes to collect her. When Nianqin arrives, he finds Wuyan hugging a wine bottle and angrily complaining about him. Rather than becoming annoyed, he is relieved and even happy to see that she is finally expressing the feelings she has kept inside. Her anger reassures him that she has not become indifferent to him. He gently takes her home and promises that he will not be cruel to her again. Episode 20 ends with Nianqin continuing to pursue Wuyan through actions rather than empty promises. Wuyan is still hurt and hesitant, but Xiaolu's revelations and Nianqin's desperate search force her to reconsider the belief that he abandoned her emotionally. Their reconciliation is not yet complete, but both are moving closer to acknowledging that their love has survived the three years apart.
